Episode 65 – It’s Not a Trap, It’s an NRL Off-Season Wrap

League By The FireplaceWelcome or welcome back to the Log Cabin for 2014. In the first episode of the year we discuss:

  • Auckland 9’s wrap up – It’s shiny and new but how long will that new car smell last? Rising stars and old “legends” combine and even though considered an overall success, there were both pros and cons. BONER ZONE!
  • Off-Season Happenings – There’s always dopes put there putting their head in the newspapers over the NRL off-season whether it be drunkards or union defectors. If players want out of the limelight we suggest they head to Coffs Harbour, where it seems no one gives a shit about league; just ask Laurie.
  • League by the Fireplace Dictionary – A new segment profiling the origin and true meaning of a rugby league players name. This week; Lachlan Coote.
  • I Signed for My Old Club – The grass is not always greener on the other side and sometimes players return to their old stomping ground. This week it’s the citizen arresting, noodle eating Dene Halatau.
